Specific Project functions include:
- Receive, Review and Respond to any Contractual Correspondence with The Engineers and Client.
- Investigate Claims and Entitlements that may arise for the Contractor.
- Maintain Formal and Informal Communication Structure and Procedures for the Construction Process.
- Monitor the Ongoing Projects Progress and Technical Requirements.
- Expedite, Review and Monitor the Timeous Issue of Construction Information to the Engineers and/or Client.
- Oversee the Handover and the Establishment of the Site by the Contractor
- Asses Scope Versus Budget, Drawings Versus Bill of Quantities and Propose Rebalancing where necessary.
- Monitor, Control and agree with the Engineers on all Scope and Cost Variations.
- Ensure Quality Assurance Procedures are in place and Monitor the Implementation thereof by the Construction Team
- Monitor, Review, and Sign Monthly Progress Payment Certificates.
- Monitor the Preparation of the Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan and approval.
- Monitor Progress in Addressing any issues which may arise from the Audit of the Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan by the Health and Safety Consultant.
- Receive, Co-ordinate, and Review all Contract Documentation Provided by the Consultant (Engineer), Subcontractors, and Suppliers for Compliance with all of the Contract Requirements.
- Attend all necessary Planning and Site Meetings
- Create and Manage Contract Programme
- Oversee the Appointment of sub-contractor(s) on behalf of Contractor.
- Regularly Monitor the Performance of the Construction Teams against the Contract Programme.
