Meet The Director

Sonwabe Nongogo is a highly respected civil engineer and the Managing Director of our firm. With over 16 years of experience, he brings deep technical expertise and visionary leadership to every project. Sonwabe is a registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town.

His professional journey spans the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects—from design, tender documentation, and reporting, to tender evaluation, construction supervision, and programme management. He has successfully led the delivery of complex municipal engineering services across South Africa, including roads, stormwater, potable water, and sewer infrastructure.

A passionate leader and industry influencer, Sonwabe was named SAICE North West’s “Best Young Engineer” in 2017, and selected as a national finalist for SAICE’s “Young Engineer of the Year”. He also served as the Chairperson of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) North West Branch in 2016 and 2017, advocating for engineering excellence and professional growth across the province.

Beyond his accolades, Sonwabe is a driven entrepreneur who established a multidisciplinary practice offering civil and structural engineering services, house construction, and infrastructure development. His strategic vision, combined with hands-on expertise, ensures that every project is delivered with technical precision, contractual compliance, and a focus on long-term value for clients.
